Which seed to choose for a Mediterranean climate?
Without a doubt, our PARK seed mix is the best choice. It is specifically formulated and specially adapted to the Mediterranean climate. It is composed of 95% tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) and 5% Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis), which gives it high resistance to drought and water stress thanks to its deep root system. (Note: The Mare Nostrum formula is also a good option for the Mediterranean and coastal areas.)
Which formula is better for coastal or salt flat areas?
The Mare Nostrum formula is the best option. It has been specifically designed to withstand coastal humidity and soils or water with high salt concentrations, tolerating poor water quality.

The Mare Nostrum formula is ideal for gardens with pets. This is due to its stoloniferous growth, which allows it to quickly recover bare patches, and its high resistance to urine salts, which reduces the typical yellowing of the lawn. (Note: Our Continental seed mix is also pet-friendly.).
